Inis Mor, the biggest of the Aran Islands was the truly stunning venue for Amanda & Fil’s Celtic Wedding on Tuesday. There were ferries, bikes, a broken wrist and a lot of rain for their ceremony making it a truly memorable trip!

Amanda & Fil arrived in Dublin from Florida a week and a half ago. You can see some of their dublin city photos here. They then traveled all over Ireland before arriving in Inis Mor for their wedding on Tuesday.

On Monday, the day before the wedding, disaster struck when Fil came off his bike at a bad bend and broke his wrist! They quickly ferried and drove to Galway hospital and were discharged with a temporary cast just in time to come back to their guesthouse on the Island for their wedding.

Dara Molloy, the Celtic Priest, officiated at their beautiful ceremony in Teampail Chiarain. It was misty and the rain poured but it was warm and the light was magical. After the ceremony I had to bike it as quick as I could with all my wet gear to catch the last ferry. Thankfully I made it on time with wrists and cameras in tact too!

Congratulations Amanda & Fil, it was a wonderful and unique day and a real privilege to witness and capture. Here is a little look at some images from your great day –
